ORR RK~XDLVED that WHEREAS the vehicular traffic between Niagara Falls and the United States continues to be seriously congested; AND WHEREAS the Bridge Conmission is taking steps to provide new physical inspection facilities; AND WHEREAS traffic at the international crossings continues to grow both in tourism and in movement of manufactured and consumer goods due to the passing of the free trade legislation; AND WHEREAS the Region of Niagara, the City of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Falls Bridge Conmission and the Niagara Parks Conmission, have taken steps to re-channelize traffic at the intersection of River Road and the Lower Bridge to ease the congested movement of traffic. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Revenue Canada be petitioned to further increase the staffing complement to ensure that the physical facilities will be able to be fully utilized. Expenses Incurred By Municipal Employees Transportation Expenses indude - operators' and inspectors' salaries, wages, fdnge benefits, uniforms and other expenses; - licence fees; - equipment rental charges. Scheduling and Dispatching Expenses include - schedulers' and dispatchers' salaries, wages, fringe benefits, uniforms and other expenses. Fuel Expenses include - all costs, including applicable taxes, for all forms of energy comsumed when operating vehicles. Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance Expenses include - mechanics' salaries, wages, fringe benefits and miscellaneous expenses; - costs for parts and supplies; - purchased repairs and services. · General and Administrative Expenses include - salaries, wages, fringe benefits and miscellaneous expenses associated with employees undertaking administrative activities; - insurance premiums, claims and damage charges; - advertising and promotional costs; - costs br office supplies; - telephone and telegraph charges; - professional fees. Miscellaneous Expenses include all approved costs of a direct operating nature that are not described above. Revenue Component Regular Passenger Service revenue includes all fare revenue collected from the provision of regular or special passenger services.
