Mayor Diodati to recognize Madison Kryger for accomplishing a
high level of achievement in the world of swimming.
7.2. Appointment Request - Michael Williams - Resolution - Water
Safety Training
Michael Williams is the grandfather of the two children who
drowned in Dryden, Ontario on July 31, 2025. Michael is
lobbying the provincial government to make water safety training
a part of the regular elementary school curriculum. Attached is a
copy of the resolution for Council to support.

Summary

Digital Master plan for the City of Niagara Falls. Perry Group
helps municipalities maximize opportunities to use technology in

10. CONSENT AGENDA
The consent agenda is a set of reports that could be approved in one
motion of council. The approval endorses all of the recommendations
contained in each of the reports within the set. The single motion will
save time.
Prior to the motion being taken, a councillor may request that one or
more of the reports be moved out of the consent agenda to be
considered separately.

11. COMMUNICATIONS AND COMMENTS OF THE CITY CLERK
The Communications section of the agenda is a set of items listed as
correspondence to Council that could be approved in one motion of
Council. If Staff feel that more than one recommendation is required,
the listed communications items will be grouped accordingly. The single
motion per recommendation, if required, will save time.
Prior to any motion being taken, a Councillor may request that one or
more of the items be lifted for discussion and considered separately.
RECOMMENDATION: THAT Council approve/support Item #11.1.
11.1. Illumination Request - Giving Tuesday - Tuesday, December
2nd, 2025
Council, at its meeting of October 7, 2025, approved the request
to proclaim Tuesday, December 2, 2025 as "Giving Tuesday" in
the City of Niagara Falls. The founder of the Niagara Gives
movement, is requesting Council to approve illuminating City Hall
in Red & White on December 2nd, 2025 as part of the 5th Annual
"#NiagaraLightsUpTogether" illumination campaign.
Recommendation: THAT Council approve the illumination of City
Hall in red and white on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 as part of
the illumination campaign, supporting "Giving Tuesday."
