WHEREAS a change is being made to a proposed by-law after holding the required public
meeting, therefore council shall determine whether any further notice is to be given in
respect of the proposed by-law and the determination of the council as to the giving of
further notice is final and not subject to review in any court irrespective of the extent of
the change made in the proposed by-law; and
WHEREAS before approving application SBA-2021-001 to amend the Sign By-law on
April 20, 2021, Council held a public meeting in compliance with By-law No 2021-24.
WHEREAS staff have modified the amendment since the public meeting was held to
adjust the distance separation between two billboards to place the proposed billboard
46.0 m east of the original location; and,
WHEREAS that the changes to the proposed by-law are minor and do not require further
notice;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council determines that the change to the
proposed sign by-law for SBA-2021-001 is minor and does not require further notice.
AND The Seal of the Corporation be hereto affixed. Carried Unanimously
