WHEREAS the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise is planning their third annual "Ribfest" from
June 15th - 17th, 2007 at the Optimist Club; and
WHEREAS the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sumise financially supports numerous community
organizations and projects; and
WHEREAS this event is expected to attract between 40,000 to 75,000 persons from throughout
Ontario and Western New York; and
WHEREAS this event will assist the Rotary Club in reaching their financial objectives for giving
funds to the community and for international projects.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sumise Ribfest is a
community event deserving of City Council support.
