WHEREAS all meetings of Council are to be open to the public; and
WHEREAS the only time a meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subj ect
matter falls under one of the exceptions under s. 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT on October 6, 2008 Niagara Falls Council wili go into
a closed meeting to consider a matter Yhat falls under the subject matter of 239(2)(~ of the
Municipal Act, 2001, to receive advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege.
