WAEREAS the Rotary Club ofNiagara Falls Sunrise is planning their fifth annual "RibfesY' from
June 19`h - 21s', 2009 at the Optimist Club; and
WHEREAS the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls Sunrise financially supports numerous community
organizations and projects; and
WHEREAS this event is expected to attract between 40,000 to 75,000 persons from throughout
Ontario and Western New York; and
WHEREAS this event will assist the Rotaiy Club in reacbing their financial objectives for giving
funds to the community.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Rotary Club of Niagara I'alls Sunrise Ribfest is a
community event deserving of City Council support.
