BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Provincial government be urged to
mandate municipalities to place the same priorities on crime prevention and community safety
as it does on fire prevention and fire safety and that they provide municipalities with the
financial means to do so.

reaffirms the passing of By-law No. 2001-157, a by-law to permit the development of a golf
course resort.
