WHEREAS all meetings of Council are to be open to the public; and
WHEREAS the only time a meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject
matter falls under one of the exceptions under s. 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT on August 15, 2011 Niagara Falls Council will go into
a special closed meeting to consider a matter related to the Visitor Transportation System that falls
under the subject matter of 239(2)(a) of the Municipal Act, 2001, security of the property of the
municipality; matters related to the Pew Street road allowance and City -owned lands that fall under
the subject matter of 239(2)(f), solicitor - client privilege and 239(2)(c)proposed or pending
acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality; matters related to organizational changes and
negotiations that fall under the subject matters of 239(2)(b), personal matters and 239(2)(d), labour
relations or employee negotiations.
