WHEREAS all meetings of Council are to be open to the public; and
WHEREAS the only time a meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject
matter falls under one of the exceptions under s. 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT on December 12, 2011 Niagara Falls Council will go
into a closed meeting to consider matters that fall under the subject matter of 239(2)(a) security of
the property of the municipality, 239(2)(c)proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of lands
by the municipality, 239(e) potential litigation and 239(2)(f), advice that is subject to solicitor- client
privilege related to properties located at 6045 Barker Street, 5145 Centre Street, 4555 Erie Avenue
and Pt Lot 56 59R6850 PT 01.
