WHEREAS all meetings of Council are to be open to the public; and
WHEREAS the only time a meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public is if
the subject matter falls under one of the exceptions under s. 239(2) of the Municipal Act,
2001.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT on May 10, 2016 at 4:30 p.m., Niagara Falls
Council will go into a closed meeting, prior to their regularly scheduled meeting at 5:00 p.m.
to consider a matter that falls under s. 239(2)(c), a proposed disposition of land, and s.
239(2)(f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege pertaining to Part of the Montrose
Business Park; and a matter that falls under s. 239(2)(f), advice that is subject to solicitor-
client privilege and s. 239(2)(e), litigation or potential litigation, including matters before
administrative tribunals, related to 5855 Garner Road and 4431 Victoria Avenue.
