SIXTEENTH MEETING
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
November 25, 2016
Council met on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in a Closed Meeting
related to the items noted in the resolution below. All members of Council except
Councillors loannoni, Pietrangelo and Strange were present.
2016-127 A by-law to suspend the notice requirements of Procedural By-law No. 89-
155.
ORDERED on the motion of Councillor Morocco, seconded by Councillor Kerrio
that the by-law be approved.
Carried Unanimously
NO. 35 MOROCCO THOMSON- THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that on November 25,
2016 at 9:00 a.m., Niagara Falls Council will go into a special closed meeting, to
consider a matter that falls under s. 239(2)(c), a proposed acquisition of land pertaining
to property at 4343 Morrison Street; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that due to the time sensitivity of the matter, that Council
dispense with the 48 hour notice under the Standing Rules of Council for calling a
special meeting.
Following consideration of the item presented, the In Camera Session adjourned
at 9:40 a.m. The Council will rise and report at the next scheduled meeting.
