May 9 Sarah, Steven and Patrick Babin
Sarah practices singing at St. Patrick's church in the children's choir with Carol Martin,
Director of Music and Alessandra DiCienzo, organist/pianist and she is looking forward
to joining the choir next fall. Sarah is a bongo and bell player at church and she has
been playing the piano for two years in the Music for Young Children Program. Sarah
also takes ballet, plays soccer, takes swimming lessons, enjoys reading, likes arts and
crafts and loves to fish. Sarah especially loves to kiss the fish she catches. Sarah is a
first grader at Mary Ward Elementary School.
Patrick has been singing at St. Patrick's church in the children's choir for 2 years and
has been playing the piano for four years. He has won first place awards in the
Stamford and St. Catharine's Kiwanis Music Festivals. In addition to music, Patrick also
plays AAA Novice hockey for Southern Tier Admirals, plays travel Rookie baseball with
GNBA, takes swimming lessons, plays racket sports and loves to fish and golf. Patrick
is a third grader at Mary Ward Elementary School
Stephen has been singing at St. Patrick's Church in the children's choir for 5 years and
he has been playing the piano for 7 years. He has won distinguished awards for his
piano including ORMTA Niagara Falls Branch Competition winner 2017, first place
awards and scholarships with the Stamford and St. Catharine's Kiwanis Music Festivals
and Port Colbourne Festival of the Arts, and The Most Promising Canadian Student in
Piano Performance by the Stamford Kiwanis Music Festival. In addition to
music, Stephen also plays AA Minor Peewee hockey for Niagara Falls Flyers,
plays travel soccer with the Niagara Falls Titans, takes swimming lessons, plays racket
sports and golf and loves to fish and read. Stephen is a sixth grader at Mary Ward
Elementary School

- Inhonor of Canada's 1501'anniversary we will be connecting 150
tables together and positioning them in the form of the letter"C".
Everyone seated at the tables will receive a red napkin,which will be
waved patriotically in the air while an aerial photo is taken of our
community#EatingTogether
- Heart Niagara is also celebrating 40 years:

- In order to achieve the feeling of a"picnic",we will be connecting

- Net proceeds from Picnic on the Q will be a fundraising opportunity
for Heart Niagara and will also act as a stepping-stone for us to
achieve the Guinness World Records for the longest table in 2018

We are the solicitors for Cytec Canada Inc.,part of the Solvay Group ("Cytec").
We are in receipt of a Notice of Intent to Pass an Amending By-law to Remove a Holding
Symbol with respect to the Heartland Forest lands. The purpose of the removal of the hold
is to permit the construction of a 70 square metre accessory building to provide washroom
facilities for Heartland Forest activities. The accompanying stormwater report prepared by
Associated Engineering (Ont.) Ltd., dated March 31,2017 has also been provided.
Section 4 of Zoning By-law 2005-198 specifically references the owner of Thompson's
Creek for sign off for the removal of the hold with regard to stormwater matters. Cytec is
the owner of Thompson's Creek. Given the limited nature of the proposal, Cytec has no
objection to the removal of the hold for this specific proposal. It is Cytec's specific
understanding that the hold will remain in place to be satisfied for any future and further
development on the property.
